Outdoor pest control services
As you’ve kind of gotten the gist from other sections on this page, pest control is important. Outdoor pest control is a little trickier. We can’t eradicate pests in their own territory, but we can eradicate pests from your territory.
But we view the outdoors and the Earth as sacred. We do our part to make as little of a mark on this Earth as possible with our approaches to pest control.
Aquatic systems are teeming with fish and organisms that we don’t want to disrupt. Surface water has enough time keeping clean from other big polluters like factories, pest control cannot afford to harm this ecosystem either.
We do not treat within the state guidelines of fresh water sources for any pests, but especially mosquitoes and ticks (our main yard spray). We leave adequate room for any runoff, so it doesn’t get into lakes, ponds, and rivers.
Our mosquito and tick spray also dries within 45 minutes or so, depending on weather conditions like wind and humidity, and it does not come off easily. Once dry it is safe to the touch, children and pets can return to the yard, and it is safe from a rain. It doesn’t wash away, but rain can pool and mosquitoes can breed in those areas, so if you have more activity after a rain, just call us.
Pollinator friendly environments are vital to keeping our lives as we know it. With decreasing bee populations, we take the necessary approaches to treat in areas where honey bees do not congregate. We also try not to treat flowers that they would collect pollen from.
